The driftwood was the first surfboard we ever built. It isn’t our most elegant board but it still one of our favorite to surf. Partly because it performs so well and partly just because it will always be out first. It has plywood decks top and bottom and the rails are made from plywood strips covered in cork. The fins have cork accents to match the rails.
The Driftwood project is the one that started it all for us.
