I now have the bottom deck and the two inner layers in place.
As with the Mini Pintail, I will cut the board shape out of these layers before I put the top deck on.
Doing it this way helps me to insure that I place the outline of the board optimally within the boundaries of the rail material around the edge of the board.
Here you can see these three layers clamped into the rocker table.

And in this shot you can see the outline of the board drawn on. You can see where I will have to make a slight adjustment to stay within the rail material on the left side of this photo.
