I hit this board with a few coats of epoxy last night.
I decided to do this board with epoxy only. No fiberglass.
I love to see how the grain patterns come out when you wet down the wood with epoxy.
Here are a few shots with and without a flash. The epoxy takes on a sort of honey tone when the flash hits it. The lighter looking shots, without the flash, are closer to what the board looks like in person.
I got so excited about getting the epoxy on that I forgot to add my logo. I had to go back and burn it through the epoxy. Not a nice aroma but I think it came out OK. I may go back and touch up the nose of the board in the logo a bit.
