Once the epoxy set up on the fins, I sanded down the excess and then laid a sheet of fiberglass over each one for reinforcement. I won’t use fiberglass on the rest of this board because its plenty strong on its own but the fins need a little extra help

I wait until the epoxy starts to gel and then trim away the excess fiberglass using a razor blade. Its easier at this stage before the epoxy hardens all the way.

When its cured all the way I do the final sanding, add a leash loop, then one more coat of epoxy over the whole board and she’s done!
